Product Details

(H) GW8 neutral point disconnector is a single-pole direct-acting device designed for three-phase AC 50Hz outdoor high voltage environment. Its main function is to achieve safe isolation of the neutral point of the transformer under no-load conditions. When the knife is in the normal open position, it provides an insulation distance that meets safety requirements.

This product has a single-pole and single-column snap-fit structure and occupies a small area; it is mainly composed of a base, a pillar insulator, a conductive circuit, an operating mechanism, etc. The blade is installed on the lower part of the pillar insulator, and the static contact is installed on the upper part of the pillar insulator. When opening, a vertical insulation fracture is formed between the blade and the static contact directly above. During the closing action, the gate knife rotates in the vertical plane until the static contact is driven in and meshes correctly.
The neutral point isolating switch can be equipped with the CS8 and CS17IV perfect and improved human mechanism, or the CJ6G perfect and improved electric mechanism. The human mechanism can also be equipped with the new DSW4 electromagnetic lock.
